Every so often you get to go a journey with your clients and I feel as if I was able to experience so much with Stephanie & Wilson. Although a Telluride wedding was in the works, the two were yet to be engaged, which left not only the bride to be, but myself anxiously waiting for the question to be popped. Wilson, the romantic that he is, surprised Stephanie in the middle of Times Square with a big screen proposal. The answer was obviously yes and we hit the ground running.
The end result was captured by the very talented and ever so sweet Lauren Peel. The two were married atop the San Sophia Ridge with a reception to follow at Tomboy Tavern. The day was quite typical of early summer in Telluride with constant weather changes. Blue skies and warm temps in the morning were followed by rain and hail minutes before the bride walked town the aisle, only to cease at exactly the right moment for a picturesque ceremony.
Classic and romantic details were on point for their intimate reception with their closest friends and family. A photo booth, donuts, outfit changes, dancing and late night tacos kept the party lively. In the end, this couple was as lovely as they are attractive, and this journey has cultivated a lasting friendship that I am so happy to be a part of.
